Mysterious Stonehenge, 5,000 years ago the huge 40 tonne stones were dragged from over 280 miles away in Wales. Who built it and why remains a mystery today. Some say that it was built as a religious temple, or an astronomical clock. Stonehenge continues to enthrall the imagination and captivate the heart of every visitor. Our specially designed Renaults and Mercedes Sprinters can travel anywhere a car can, reaching places the larger coach finds impossible. Luggage is generally stored under-floor and you sit high above the cars and hedgerows enjoying good all round views. Days of variety with something for all. Seeing both famous sights (when the crowds have left) and the not so familiar. Entrance fees (when with your guide) are included in the tour price. Please note that the detailed itineraries printed in these web pages should be read as guidelines, sites listed should be regarded as those possible, not that all will be seen. You will be part of determining which are seen on a daily basis as we mould the tour to suit participantsSmall groups mean we can change our daily schedule, take advantage of weather conditions, enjoy local events and your particular interest. Each evening the group discusses the following day's alternatives and there is scope for choice

» The Classical Tour of London Half
"An excellent tour where you will follow the path of London's history from the Romans to the present vibrant city."

Buckingham Palace Westminster Abbey Harrods Fleet Street Hyde Park The Monument Piccadilly Circus Tower of London Big Ben Downing Street The Houses of Parliament Tower Bridge St. Paul's Cathedral Trafalgar Square

Our exquisite replica coaches, built around a modern engine and chassis to the highest specification, combine the elegant style of the 1920's with the reliability and comfort of today's motor vehicles.

Our daily tours of London provide a good insight into the city, from the historic buildings and landmarks to the sights of modern London. There will be a detailed commentary throughout the tour from our knowledgeable local guides bringing London's rich history alive.

Following our coach drive past some of Londons most famous landmarks including Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament we arrive at the Tower of London where we are met on the middle drawbridge by our very own Yeoman Warder. Leading us into this world heritage site before it opens to the public our Beefeater will take us on a private guided tour explaining the history behind this fortress of imprisonment and torture. we are also the first group to see the Crown Jewels before enjoying some free time to explore on our own. Why not visit Traitors Gate, the armouries or the Bloody Tower? And keep an eye out for the famous Ravens. Tradition has it that if the Ravens leave the Tower the monarch will fall!
Changing of the gaurd. Departing the Tower we head to The Mall to watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony as one of the Queens Foot Guard Household Regiments march from St. James Palace to Buckingham Palace to military music dressed in their world famous tunics and busbies.*
All morning tours will see 'The Changing of the Guard'.

Changing of the Guard is daily from May to July and every other day from August to April. (Not in bad weather or on State Occasions.)

When there is no Changing of the Guard, we will see instead the Changing of the Horse Guards, except Sundays.

Our coaches are smaller and more manoeuvrable than larger coaches, so we can squeeze into some tiny squares and streets, enabling you to see more than on conventional tours, and with only eleven seats, you will enjoy a more personalised service from our professional guides.
