Mysterious Stonehenge, 5,000 years ago the huge 40 tonne stones were dragged from over 280 miles away in Wales. Who built it and why remains a mystery today. Both of the tours we took were fantastic. I come to England 2-3 times each year and, in the past, have taken tours with other companies. However, your tour was better than any of the others. I like the size of your tours, the different and interesting place you go, and your excellent guides. Nick was particularly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I’ll definitely try to take the Glastonbury tour again.
Thank you again for your help.

There's also time to savour the special atmosphere of Glastonbury village with its medieval buildings and unusual shops.

Try your hand at the ancient art of dowsing - prepare to be amazed ! Glastonbury. The town of Glastonbury is particularly notable for the myths and legends surrounding a nearby hill, Glastonbury Tor, which rises up from the otherwise flat landscape of the Somerset Levels. These myths concern Joseph of Arimathea and the Holy Grail, and also King Arthur. Glastonbury is also said to be the centre of several ley lines.
Stonehenge. Stonehenge stands impressively as a prehistoric monument of unique importance, a World Heritage Site, surrounded by remains of ceremonial and domestic structures - some older than the monument itself. Many of these features - earthworks, burial mounds and other circular ‘henge’ monuments - are accessible by road or public footpath. Stonehenge’s orientation on the rising and setting sun has always been one of its remarkable features. Whether this was simply because the builders came from a sun-worshipping culture, or because - as some scholars believe - the circle and its banks were part of a huge astronomical calendar, remains a mystery.
Crop circles is a term used to describe patterns created by the flattening of crops such as wheat, barley, rapeseed (also called "canola"), rye, corn, linseed and soy. The term was first used by researcher Colin Andrews to describe simple circles he was researching. Since 1990 the circles evolved into complex geometries, but by then the term had stuck. Examples can be found worldwide. Various hypotheses have been offered to explain their formation, ranging from the naturalistic to the paranormal. Naturalistic explanations include man-made hoaxes or geological anomalies, while paranormal explanations include formation by UFOs. Many circles are known to be man-made,[6][7][8] such as those created by Doug Bower, Dave Chorley, and John Lundberg,[9] and a 2000 study into circle hoaxing concluded that 80 percent of UK circles were definitely man-made
